CUP is a nonprofit that uses the power of art and design to increase meaningful civic engagement, in partnership with marginalized communities.
We make information about
public policies accessible.
We collaborate with community organizations, schools, visual designers, and artists, to make information about the public policies, processes, and systems that define our lives, accessible.
We believe that accessible information about public policies and systems is critical for protecting human rights, supporting individual and collective agency, and undermining systems of oppression.
And we believe in the power of art and design to create educational experiences that reflect the value, power, and vision of people and communities who have the most at stake.
